Thoughts that dare to escape.

who am i?

I am a girl. A wife. A daughter. A lover of the most high King, Jesus Christ. I know nothing except, that I am desperate for a touch from Him, a habitation of the King of the Jews in my life. I can’t live without Him. I can’t function without His very breath breathing into my nostrils. My one heart’s cry is to be in rhythm with his heart beat. To feel what He feels, to hear what He hears, to see what He sees, to smell what He smells, to taste what He tastes. I love Him and long to be with Him. The separation between Him and I is excruciating. I long to be with the One who is ravishing my heart, captivating my thoughts and enthralling my being.

In March of 2008, the Lord brought into my life the most incredible man I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Ten months later, on January 25, 2009, on a very cold Sunday morning, we were wed on one of the most glorious mountain tops. Shortly after our wedding and honeymoon, we obeyed the Lord in His request to come back to my home town and care for my grandfather for the remainder of his life. My husband has shown me every day what it looks like to genuinely lay your life down for the one that God has put before you. I thank Jesus every day for giving me such a man. My prayer is that I am as faithful to the Father and my husband as Kevin is to his Father and me.

I write from my grandfathers farm just outside of Roswell, New Mexico. I pray you are encouraged as you read my ramblings. Please drop a note to let me know that you stopped by my little space. I’d love to get to know you. Thank you again for taking time to get to know me.
